If I was running for president, I'd probably have one of my aides pick the songs for my rallies because really all my good music would piss somebody and their mother off which would lead to full blown riots and I'd have about as much a chance at the presidency as Ron Paul. Also am I the only one missing Sami's usual segments?
Well, it was already cleared up that judging by my iPod playlist, I would not be allowed to run. And I really have no idea what my song would be.
I really don't understand why artists are being so damn defensive about it. I'm a conservative and an art major (specifically visual communications design fyi). Nothing stopping my creativity. Nothing stifling me. They're all flipping out about it and issues and whatnot, and personally it makes me think INSTEAD of doing what they do for the music, it's suddenly for the issues.
And really I would think having a near-communist in office would be more stifling on my art than the other choice. :] But maybe that's just me.
